A $15 wage helps all New Yorkers – add your name to join the fight

Who We Are

The Mario Cuomo Campaign for Economic Justice is a coalition of working people and responsible businesses, civil rights, and religious leaders from around the State who are dedicated to restoring economic justice by enacting a fair and livable minimum wage. We know that raising the minimum wage to $15 is the best way to get more of our friends and neighbors out of poverty and into the middle class.

It costs a lot to live in New York and many of those who work the hardest, including homecare and childcare workers who care for our families, earn far less than a fair and livable wage. Raising the minimum wage to $15 an hour means that over 3,000,000 workers would see their wages rise. That’s 36% of all workers in New York State. Workers across the country have mobilized behind the #NYFightFor15, and momentum is growing by the day. This is our chance to lead, and show the nation that New York is the capital of economic justice and opportunity for all.

We’re coming together and joining Governor Cuomo in calling on the New York State legislature to act. New Yorkers deserve fair pay for an honest day’s work.
